Lately, I've been more and more drawn to Therevada schools like the Thai Forest Tradition of Ajahn Chah. It just looks more like a practice and less like an organization than what I'm more accustomed to. Of course, I say this entirely mindful of the wonderful things I've been learning from the Fo Guang Shan order, but it still seems like something's missing (I mean, missing in my practice, not in the order). What I'm digging at might be closer the one tradition than to another.
